Why Create & Connect exists, and what we're protecting.
I started Create & Connect when I got pregnant and realized I needed a stream of income that could eventually become a real business — and give me freedom.
I'd been attending photo meets across LA and always left feeling like something was missing. *If they had just changed this one thing,* I'd think, *this could've been so much more productive, beautiful, and fun.*
So I built my own — the way I felt would actually benefit everyone in the room.
I realized this wasn't just another photo meet when people I respected started wanting to be part of it.
From a friend trusting me with their mansion to shoot in, to creatives who usually paid $30–$40 for photo meets willingly paying $95+ for a Create & Connect event — I knew people were seeing this as an experience, not a transaction.
That's when I committed: build it like it deserves to exist.
Every attendee is intentional. Photographers selected for vision, models for talent, brands for taste. Not a marketplace — a room.
Editorial-grade venues, considered styling, real creative direction. What you leave with is what you can show to agencies and brands.
Not a transaction. A room where photographers, models, designers, and brands actually build relationships that last past the event.
Create & Connect is rooted in art, creativity, collaboration, and meaningful work. It can grow — but it will never lose the feeling that made people want to be part of it in the first place.
