Terms of Service

Welcome to Create & Connect LA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of createconnectla.com (the "Site"), your purchase of tickets, and your attendance at our events. By using the Site or buying a ticket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who we are

Create & Connect LA ("we," "us," or "our") is a Los Angeles–based community that hosts curated events bringing together models, photographers, brands, and creatives. You can reach us at hello@createconnectla.com.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket, apply to an event, or otherwise use the Site. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Tickets and payments

• Ticket prices are listed at checkout in U.S. dollars and are charged at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to ours.
• A confirmed ticket reserves your spot at the applicable event. Tickets are for personal use and may not be resold for profit.
• Some events are curated and require an approved application before purchase. Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot.

Refunds and cancellations

• Tickets are non-refundable except as described here or where required by law.
• If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest by emailing us at least 48 hours before the event.
• If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
• If we reschedule an event, your ticket will be honored for the new date; if you cannot attend the new date, contact us for a refund.

Event conduct

Our events are intentional, elevated spaces. We expect all attendees to treat one another, our team, our partners, and our venues with respect. We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who behaves disruptively, unsafely, or disrespectfully, without a refund.

Photography and media release

Our events are photographed and filmed. By attending, you grant Create & Connect LA and participating creatives the right to capture, use, and share images and video that may include you for promotional, editorial, and portfolio purposes, without further compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed, notify our team at the event.

Applications and submissions

When you apply as a creative or submit content, inquiries, or other materials, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We may use submitted materials to evaluate applications and to coordinate events.

Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, logos, and imagery, is owned by or licensed to Create & Connect LA and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party services such as Stripe, Instagram, and our newsletter provider. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services, which are governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers

The Site and our events are provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific outcomes, connections, or results from attending. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Create & Connect LA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or attendance at an event. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant ticket.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or purchase of tickets after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
