This September the room moves into a colorful, retro-inspired Los Angeles studio — an afternoon built around creating, experimenting, and meeting the people you actually want to work with again. Think Barbie World meets Ken Core meets creative playground.
Move through multiple immersive sets, switch up your concepts, shoot with new faces, and create the kind of work that makes your portfolio feel exciting again.
No stiff networking. No standing around wondering who to shoot with. Just photographers, models, videographers, and artists creating together — come with a concept, or make one up when you get there.
A retro-inspired studio built out in fully styled sets. Move between them, change your concept as you go, and let every wall read as a different location.
You're invited to the event group chat the moment you RSVP — where models, photographers, and videographers align on concepts, looks, and shooting flow before you arrive.
Thirty-five creatives, curated for taste and intention. Shoot with new faces, trade contacts, and leave with people you'll book again — not a room of business cards.
A full rotation of sets in a single afternoon. Leave with the range of a multi-day production — and content you're genuinely obsessed with.
Pink vinyl, chrome, candy machines and a mint-green classic — an editorial world you can walk into for one afternoon. The exact studio, address, and parking instructions are released to confirmed attendees after RSVP.
Model spots are kept limited so the room stays balanced with photographers — and priced at $55 to keep the talent strong. RSVP to claim yours; styling direction and the attendee list live in the group chat you join right after checkout.
RSVP for Models →The Pink Issue is built to be sponsored, activated, and seen. If you're a brand, sponsor, or vendor who wants a presence at the event — a booth, an activation, product placement, or content — let's build it together.
Inquire to partner →3 hours in a private multi-set Los Angeles studio with access to every set, access to all photographers, models, videographers, and artists in the room, and the pre-event group chat with the full attendee list, concepts, and styling notes. Photographers/creators $95, models $55.
Photographers: your camera and a fast lens or two — sets are lit, but bring your own lighting if you prefer it. Models: 2–4 looks that play against different sets. Videographers: your rig — the sets are built for motion too. Come with a concept, or build one on the day.
Barbie World, Ken Core, and everything around it — pink, pastel, retro, chrome, denim, Y2K, colour-blocked. Anything that pops against a candy-bright set. A moodboard and full styling direction are shared in the group chat before event day.
